Windies (Ngawi)

Located in The Wairarapa, Windies (Ngawi) is a reef and point break that works best with south swells and northeast winds. The waves are suitable for intermediate surfers and are less crowded than other spots. Submerged rocks pose a hazard, so caution is advised. Water temperatures are cold, requiring a wetsuit. While summer can be flat, offshore winds enhance conditions for surfing.
