Ning Nong Point and Reef

Located in Waiararpa, Ning Nong Point and Reef is a challenging reef and point break best suited for advanced and expert surfers. The waves are fairly consistent, with the best conditions coming from south swells and offshore northeast winds. The break features both a left-hand reef and point section, surfable at all tides. The area is rarely crowded, but submerged rocks pose a hazard.
