Pochomil Viejo

Located in Leon Province, Nicaragua, Pochomil Viejo is a reef break that thrives on groundswells from the south-southwest. The best conditions occur around low tide, with both left and right reefs offering rides. While the waves are inconsistent, the spot is rarely crowded, making it a hidden gem for intermediate surfers. Surfers should be cautious of rocks, rips, and occasional crowds. The warm tropical water and offshore northeast winds add to the appeal.
