Located in Wanganui-Manawatu, Peka Peka is a beach break that works best with northwest swells and offshore southeast winds. The waves are beginner-friendly, offering both left and right-handers, but they are inconsistent and don't follow a seasonal pattern. The water is cold, requiring a wetsuit, and the spot is rarely crowded. High tide with a falling tide provides the best conditions.
