Located in Lebanon, Batroun or Colonel is a reef break with fairly consistent waves, ideal for intermediate surfers. The best conditions come from west swells and east-northeast winds, though windswells are more common. Water temperatures stay moderate around 20.6°C, and the spot is rarely crowded. Surfers should be cautious of rocks in the area.
