Hafnir

Hafnir is located on Iceland's rugged Reykjanes Peninsula, offering a reef break with fairly consistent waves suitable for beginners. The best conditions come from southwest swells, and east winds provide offshore protection. Water temperatures hover around 6°C, requiring a wetsuit. Surfers should be cautious of rocks and strong rip currents, but crowds are rare even when the surf is good.
