Main Street is a sandbar break in Santa Barbara known for its inconsistent but fun waves that break both left and right. The spot works at any tide and is rarely crowded, making it ideal for beginners. Groundswells from the west-northwest provide the best conditions, while offshore winds from the east-southeast help shape the waves. Be cautious of strong rip currents and cold water temperatures that require a wetsuit.
