Torrance Beach, also known as Burn Out, is a popular beach break in Los Angeles County with fairly consistent waves. The spot works year-round, especially with west-northwest swells and offshore east winds. Right-hand waves form best around high tide, making it beginner-friendly but often crowded. Surfers should be cautious of strong rip currents and cold water requiring wetsuits.
