Fossil Beach Kodiak

Located on Kodiak Island, Fossil Beach is a consistent reef break with waves working at all tide stages. The best swells come from the south-southwest, though local windswells also produce surf. Offshore northeast winds create clean conditions, and the reef offers both left and right-hand waves. While the water is cold, requiring a wetsuit, the surf is rarely crowded. Intermediate surfers will find this spot rewarding with its steady waves and uncrowded lineup.
