Asa

Asa offers inconsistent waves in Sweden's Kattegat, best in west-northwest swells and offshore northeast winds.

Located in Sweden's Kattegat region, Asa is a beach and reef break that works best with west-northwest swells and offshore northeast winds. The right-hand reef break is good at all tide stages but tends to be flat in summer. With cold water requiring a wetsuit, this rarely crowded spot is beginner-friendly but watch for rocks. Local windswells create the most reliable waves, though distant groundswells are less common.
