Shark Alley

Shark Alley is a reef break located in Great Barrier Island, New Zealand, offering both left and right-hand waves. The spot works well year-round with groundswells more common than windswells, especially from the northeast. Ideal winds come from the southwest, and the waves suit all tide levels. While relatively uncrowded, surfers should be cautious of strong rips and sharks in the area.
