Caleta Sama

Located in southern Peru, Caleta Sama is a secluded point break that delivers consistent waves suitable for intermediate surfers. The best swells arrive from the southwest, while offshore winds from the east-northeast create clean conditions. Surfers should be cautious of rocks, rips, and ledgy takeoffs, but crowds are rarely an issue. Water temperatures remain moderate at around 21.4°C, making it a pleasant spot for surf sessions.
