Clonmass Bay (Ards)

Located in Donegal, Clonmass Bay is a sheltered beach break that works best in winter with northwest swells. The waves, both left and right, are beginner-friendly and rarely crowded. Offshore southeast winds create the best conditions, especially around high tide. The cold water requires a wetsuit, but the relaxed atmosphere makes it a great spot for learning.
