Praia do Rock

Located in Portugal's Douro and Minho region, Praia do Rock is a sandy beach break with fairly reliable waves. The left-hand breaks work best with west swells and offshore winds from the east-northeast. Suitable for beginners, the spot can get crowded but provides a fun surf experience. Water temperatures are cold, requiring a wetsuit, and the waves are consistent throughout the year.
