Located in northern Portugal, Luz offers a reef/jetty break with fairly consistent waves year-round. The best swell comes from the west, and offshore winds blow from the east. This spot is beginner-friendly but requires caution due to rocks, rips, and pollution. Water temperatures are cold, so a wetsuit is essential. Crowds can form when the surf is good, so arrive early for the best sessions.
