Cruden Bay

Located on Scotland's rugged east coast, Cruden Bay is a sandy beach break with fairly consistent waves. The best conditions occur in winter and spring, with south swells producing both left and right-hand waves. Low tide enhances the surf, though powerful rips require caution. Despite its chilly 7.8°C waters, the uncrowded lineup makes it a peaceful spot for beginners.
