Chicama - El Point

Located in northern Peru, Chicama's El Point is a renowned beach reef and point break known for its long, powerful left-hand waves. Best surfed in winter, it favors south-southwest swells and benefits from offshore east-northeast winds. The waves are best suited for advanced and expert surfers, with relatively few crowds even on prime days. Surfers should be cautious of rocks in the lineup, making it a challenging but rewarding spot.
