La Capilla

La Capilla is a reef break in northern Chile, best surfed in winter with offshore east-northeast winds. The left reef break is the standout, though a right reef also exists. Waves are rare but fun, ideal around mid-tide, and the spot is rarely crowded. Surfers should watch for rocks and urchins, but the moderate water temperature makes it enjoyable.
