Mimitsu

Located in Kyushu, Mimitsu is a river break that produces waves mostly in winter. The best swells come from the east-northeast, with northwest winds creating ideal conditions. Both left and right-hand waves form here, though the break is inconsistent and can get crowded. Surfers should be cautious of rocks in the lineup. The water temperature averages 19.7°C, making it moderate for surfing.
