East Beach

Located on Tasmania's North Coast, East Beach is a beach break that delivers waves sporadically, with winter being the prime season. The best conditions come from north-facing swells and south-southeast winds, creating both left and right-hand waves that work well at all tide levels. While the water stays chilly at 16.8°C, the uncrowded lineup makes it ideal for beginners. Surfers should be prepared for light crowds and always wear a wetsuit.
