Tam O'Shanter

Located on Tasmania's North Coast, Tam O'Shanter is a point break that delivers peeling left-hand waves under the right conditions. Best surfed in winter with northwest swells and south-southwest winds, the spot is ideal for intermediate surfers. The waves are most consistent around high tide, though rocks and strong rips pose hazards. With cold water requiring a wetsuit, this spot is less crowded but requires caution.
