Hope Beach

Located on Tasmania's East Coast, Hope Beach is a beach break that works best in autumn with south swells. The waves are powerful and suit intermediate surfers, with both left and right breaks working around mid-tide. Offshore winds from the north-northwest create clean conditions, but the beach can get crowded and features dangerous rips. Water temperatures are cold, requiring a wetsuit.
