Trinidad State Beach

Located in Humboldt County, Trinidad State Beach is a beach and reef break with fairly consistent waves. The best swell direction is west-southwest, and east winds are ideal. Waves break both left and right, with the best conditions around low tide. The water is cold, requiring a wetsuit, and surfers should be cautious of rocks, sharks, and rip currents. Despite occasional crowds, the beach is generally uncrowded.
