Uruti Point

Located in The Wairarapa, Uruti Point is a beach break that works well at any time of year. The waves, both lefts and rights, are suitable for beginners and remain unaffected by tides. Ideal conditions include southeast swells and northwest offshore winds, though onshore winds can quickly ruin the surf. The water is cold, requiring a wetsuit, but crowds are rare even when the surf is good.
