Porridge

Porridge is a reef and point break near Invercargill, Southland, known for its reliable left-hand waves. The best conditions occur at high tide with south swells and offshore north-northeast winds. While the spot is rarely crowded, surfers should be cautious of rocks, strong rips, and sharks. The cold water requires a wetsuit, but the consistent waves make it a great beginner-friendly location.
