Blue Duck Stream

Located in Kaikoura, New Zealand, Blue Duck Stream is a consistent beach break with both left and right-hand waves. The surf is best during windswells and groundswells from the southeast, with ideal winds from the west-northwest. Suitable for intermediate surfers, the waves work well at all tide levels. The water is cold, requiring a wetsuit, and dangerous rips are present, so caution is advised.
