Mount Maunganui

Located in New Zealand's Bay of Plenty, Mount Maunganui is a beach break that works well in all seasons. The best waves come from the north-northeast, with offshore winds from the south-southwest. It produces both left and right-handers, though it can get crowded when conditions are good. The surf is suitable for intermediate surfers, with warm 22°C water and no tide-dependent quality changes.
