Taipa Bay

Taipa Bay is a beach break in Northland, New Zealand, known for its fairly consistent waves and moderate water temperatures. The best swells come from the north-northeast, while offshore winds from the south-southwest create ideal conditions. Both left and right waves are available, making it suitable for beginners. The spot is rarely crowded, but surfers should be cautious of rocks and strong rip currents.
