Tokerau Beach or Doubtless Bay

Located in Northland, Tokerau Beach is a reasonably exposed beach break with consistent waves fueled by groundswells, especially from the east-northeast. The break offers both left and right-hand waves, catering to intermediate surfers seeking uncrowded conditions. Offshore winds from the west provide the best surfing experience, while north winds offer some shelter. However, surfers should be cautious of rocks, strong rip currents, and occasional crowds when conditions are prime.
