Canto de Jacone

Located in Rio de Janeiro Norte, Canto de Jacone features a beach and point break with consistent left-hand waves. Best surfed in winter with offshore north-northeast winds, this spot works well with southwest swells. While beginner-friendly, it can get crowded and has strong rip currents, so caution is advised. The warm water and clean groundswells make it a pleasant but rarely breaking wave.
