Anclote Island

Anclote Island is a secluded sandbar break along Florida's Gulf Coast, known for its uncrowded waves. The best surf conditions occur in winter with southwest swells and west winds. The sandbar produces both left and right-hand waves that work well at all tide levels. While the waves are beginner-friendly, they rarely break, making it a spot for patient surfers. Water temperatures remain moderate year-round.
