Las olas son inconsistentes, favoreciendo el invierno y la primavera con swells del suroeste y vientos del sureste. Las mejores condiciones ocurren cerca de la marea alta, generando olas tanto de izquierda como de derecha. Por su rareza, el lugar está poco concurrido, ideal para principiantes. Las temperaturas del agua son frías, requiriendo traje de neopreno todo el año.
