Abersoch

Located on the Lleyn Peninsula in North Wales, Abersoch features a beach break with both left and right waves. The surf is beginner-friendly but inconsistent, especially in summer when conditions can be flat. Southwest swells work best, and west winds provide ideal offshore conditions. The water stays cold year-round, requiring a wetsuit. While relatively uncrowded, strong rips and undertow pose hazards.
