Sealers Cove (Wilsons Promontory)

Located in Wilsons Promontory, Sealers Cove is a rarely breaking reef break ideal for beginners. The best waves arrive in winter with south-southeast swells and southwest winds. The right-hand reef break requires caution due to strong rips, making it a challenging but uncrowded spot. Cold water temperatures necessitate a wetsuit, and the mix of groundswells and windswells creates unpredictable conditions.
