Darbys (Wilsons Promontory)

Located on the East Coast of Victoria, Darbys is a beach break with reliable waves, especially from groundswells. The best swells come from the southwest, while east-northeast winds create ideal conditions. Both lefts and rights form here, and the surf works well at any tide. However, the spot can get very crowded, sometimes to hazardous levels, so a helmet is recommended. The cold water requires a wetsuit, with temperatures around 17.5°C.
