Jamaica Beach

Located in Texas, Jamaica Beach is an exposed beach break with fairly consistent waves, especially during hurricane season. The best swell direction is southeast, and north-northwest winds create ideal offshore conditions. Suitable for intermediate surfers, the break works well at all tide levels. Surfers should be cautious of strong rips and undertow. Water temperatures are cold, requiring a wetsuit.
