Government Point

Located in Santa Barbara, Government Point is a beach and reef break with fairly consistent waves year-round. The best conditions come from southwest swells and north winds, creating powerful waves suited for advanced surfers. With few crowds, it's a rare spot to enjoy uncrowded sessions, though surfers should watch for rocks and strong rips. The cold water requires a wetsuit, but the rewarding waves make it worth the effort.
