Located in San Luis Obispo, Exotics is a lesser-known reef break that delivers consistent left-hand waves, especially during summer. The best conditions occur at high tide with rising water, and southwest swells produce the cleanest waves. Due to its remote nature, crowds are minimal, but surfers should be cautious of rocks, strong rips, and occasional shark sightings. With cold water temperatures, a wetsuit is essential for comfort and safety.
