Dana Point

Located in Orange County, Dana Point features a mix of beach and reef breaks that work in most conditions. The best waves arrive from the west-southwest, with ideal winds from the east-northeast. Best surf is found around mid-tide, but beware of rocks, strong rips, and occasional pollution. Despite its beginner-friendly rating, the spot can get crowded when conditions are good.
