Georgica (East Hampton)

Located in East Hampton, Georgica Beach is a beach/jetty break with reliable waves from groundswells and windswells. The best swell direction is southwest, and offshore winds blow from the northwest. Suitable for all tide levels, the beach break produces both left and right-handers. Surfers should be cautious of strong rip currents and crowded conditions when the surf is good. Water temperatures are cold, requiring a wetsuit year-round.
