Seaton Sluice

Seaton Sluice offers inconsistent beach breaks with left and right waves, best in winter with south-southwest winds.

Located in North East England, Seaton Sluice is a beach break with both left and right-hand waves. It works best during winter and spring, with ideal conditions around mid-tide. The waves are powered by windswells and groundswells from the north-northeast. While beginner-friendly, the surf is inconsistent, making it a relaxed spot for casual sessions. The cold water requires a wetsuit year-round.
