Guiria

Located in Venezuela's Sucre region, Guiria features a sheltered reef and point break with fairly consistent waves. The best surfing occurs in winter, with ideal northeast swells and offshore north-northwest winds. Both left and right breaks cater to intermediate surfers, with waves unaffected by tides. While shark sightings are possible, the spot remains relatively uncrowded even when waves are good.
