Coos Bay-South Jetty

Located in South Oregon, Coos Bay-South Jetty is a beach/jetty break with fairly consistent waves, especially outside of summer. The best swells come from the west, and offshore southeast winds improve conditions. This spot features both left and right-hand waves, working best around mid-tide. While rarely crowded, be mindful of strong rips, sharks, and pollution. The cold water requires a wetsuit, but the uncrowded lineup makes it a great beginner-friendly option.
