Paia Bay

Paia Bay is a beach break in Maui that works well year-round, with winter offering the best conditions. The waves come from the north-northeast, producing both left and right-hand breaks that work at all tides. While not overly powerful, the surf is consistent and rarely crowded. Surfers should watch for rips and urchins, but the warm water and uncrowded lineups make it a pleasant spot for beginners.
