H-Reef

H-Reef is a renowned reef break in Maui, known for its powerful waves that attract expert surfers. The best conditions occur in winter with offshore south winds and north-northeast swells. While the left reef break is preferred, a right reef section also provides quality waves. Surfers should be cautious of hazards like rocks, sharks, strong rips, and localism. The spot works well at all tides but can get crowded.
