Buffels Bay

Buffels Bay is a sheltered point break on the Cape Peninsula, best surfed in winter when south-southeast swells arrive. The waves are beginner-friendly but unreliable, with west-northwest winds creating the smoothest conditions. Submerged rocks pose hazards, but crowds are rare, making it a peaceful spot for local surfers. Water temperatures stay moderate around 19.4°C, adding to its appeal for casual sessions.
