Located in the Hinako Islands of Nias, Bawa is a reliable reef and point break known for its powerful waves. The best conditions occur during the dry season from May to October, with groundswells from the southwest and offshore winds from the north. Ideal for advanced and expert surfers, the waves perform best around mid tide while rising. While popular, Bawa can get crowded, so arrive early for the best sessions.
