Located in Germany's Ostsee region, Hohwachter Bucht is an exposed beach break that delivers waves sporadically, especially in summer. The best conditions occur with north-northwest swells and offshore south winds, producing both left and right-handers. Suitable for beginners, the spot offers surfable waves at all tide levels but requires a wetsuit due to cold water temperatures around 3°C. While not a reliable surf destination, it provides a unique surfing experience when conditions align.
