Banyuls

Located in Languedoc-Roussillon, Banyuls features beach and reef breaks with right-hand beach waves and a left-hand reef section. The surf is best in autumn and winter, with northeast swells and southwest winds ideal for clean conditions. The spot works well at all tides and is rarely crowded, making it a relaxed surf destination. However, surfers should be cautious of rocks in the lineup and the cold water, which requires a wetsuit.
