Vieux Boucau

Located in Landes, Vieux Boucau is a sandbar break with consistent waves fueled by both local and distant swells. The best conditions come from west swells and east-southeast offshore winds. Water temperatures are chilly, requiring a wetsuit, and the spot is rarely crowded. Intermediate surfers will find the waves most enjoyable, with a mix of rideable peaks and sections.
